Prof. Ornit Shani is Associate Professor of Modern Indian History, Department of Asian Studies, University of Haifa. Ornit won the New India Fellowship award for her book "How India Became Democratic"

As part of the Kaarana community's outreach programme on "call for evidence about introduction of blockchain in Indian election system", Prof. Ornit Shani will take a master class on Saturday, 8 May, from 4 PM to 6 PM on the origins of India's electoral democracy.
