Hello everyone,

This Saturday, 3 July at 4 PM, Privacy Mode and PyDelhi have collaborated to organize a talk about the impact of IT Rules on open source communities: https://hasgeek.com/PrivacyMode/it-rules-il-guidelines-2021/schedule

Everyone is welcome to join.

Prof. Matthew Green, Assistant Prof. of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University delivered the keynote lecture on the state of technical and policy developments on end-to-end encryption at the Data Privacy Product and Engineering Conference. The video of the talk is available for viewing at: https://hasgeek.com/rootconf/data-privacy-conference/sub/end-to-end-encryption-state-of-the-technical-and-p-X8h4qierQT4Da31x7cRFYe

A background article accompanying this talk, and a shorter version of the video is published at https://hasgeek.com/PrivacyMode/it-rules-il-guidelines-2021/sub/the-wages-of-fear-a-compendium-of-global-and-domes-GzdvpEhXmLH6uyMaNT2gJx

The above materials were produced to have a technical and policy discussion on the recent IT Rules and Intermediary Liability (IL) Guidelines which currently apply to social media organizations and digital publishers.

Privacy Mode's developer survey is ending on 5 July. The survey is running at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ITRulesSurvey
It will take 8 mins to complete the survey. Do consider participating.
