Dear All,

I would appreciate it if anyone can share the link and / or resources for population data availability for access and/or download.

Disease mortality, morbidity/prevalence and incidence data is also needed for state and district levels along with immunization / vaccination rates of children.

I am also looking for meteorological data, animal husbandry/livestock, agriculture / crops related resources for research needs on studying spatial associations with diseases and / or immunization.

Mapping resources with shapefiles including blocks would be really helpful if someone can help with.

Thanks

Hi Dr BV,

You can download the gridded (~1 km) population data for the entire country from https://sedac.ciesin.columbia.edu/data/set/india-spatial-india-census-2011

Check out this thread for visualisations: https://twitter.com/upperwal/status/1409044128323747840?s=19

Let me know if you want the shapefile or GeoJSON. I converted the raster layer to vector for some analysis.

Thanks
