I have sent an email to karnataka.data.gov.in, requesting them to look at the following items. The response is positiv. Let's see.

1. HOPCOMS publishes the daily rate card of vegetables and fruits here - http://hopcoms.karnataka.gov.in/CropRates.aspx Currently, there is no historical view. Currently, the community has been scraping the data and building a repository. You can see the details of it here - https://thejeshgn.com/projects/hopcoms-api/ but an official release would be great.
2. Currently, KGIS has a good map data set at https://kgis.ksrsac.in/kgis/downloads.aspx, but no license information is attached. It would be great to be released under the same Government Open Data License. https://karnataka.data.gov.in/government-open-data-license-india. They could even republish on karnataka.data.gov.in, so it is discoverable and comes under the same license. 
3. REAL TIME WEATHER INFORMATION - KSNDMC publishes alerts at http://www.ksndmc.org/ksndmcDashBoard/ But there is no API or other way to get this data (both current and historical). It will be of great help if it gets published on karnataka.data.gov.in, given the interest in climate change, this can be an excellent dataset for studies.
4. Karnataka Legislative Assembly publishes the questions and answers in the assembly at http://kla.kar.nic.in/assembly/questions/qns.htm, but scanned PDF copies. Ideally, it should be published on karnataka.data.gov.in, in an open format
5. Members attendance data from Vidhana Sabhe and Vidhana parishattu. 
6. Ticketing information from Namma Metro
7. Ticketing and routing information from BMTC
8. Ticketing and routing information from KSRTC

Dear Thejesh, 

Glad to see your engagement with the KODI team. I along with other civil society groups working across sectors are also engaged with the Karnataka Government on strengthening their portal called Mahiti Kanaja. It is a Public Information Portal developed with the goal of proactively disclosing information in the most useful and relevant manner for the citizens to claim their welfare entitlements, register grievances, and engage with the government in a more regular and constructive manner through the planning, implementation, and monitoring phases of various policies. I would love to chat with you whenever you/data meet community members are available. We are also working on institutionalizing a monthly tripartite dialogue - Digital Dialogue - between the civil society, various line departments of the Karnataka Gov, and the Center for E-Governance (CeG) in order to streamline the process of participation as well as enhance accountability and transparency of the entire system. 

Please do let me know when and how can we involve the data meet community better in this process. Happy to chat briefly over the phone at your convenience first.
