Census 2001 data

Hello,

I am looking for district-wise ST female literacy data from 2001 census for an ongoing project. Any lead on this would be extremely helpful.

Hi Rikhia

You can select multiple filters on the following link to find census data at the district level (my guess is you should be able to find what you are looking for). To begin with, try selecting 2001 and then Education:

https://censusindia.gov.in/census.website/data/census-tables

You can easily visualize the data on the census GIS portal. It has integrated the census data on the map. https://censusgis.org/india/

You should be able find the xls in data folder.

Thank you so much for sharing! Does it have Census 2001 data as well? At the first look I could only find data from Census 2011.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing this, but I already looked at these tables. I could find statewise ST female literacy rate and district wise literacy rate but not district wise ST female literacy rate. Any further help would be really helpful.
