Block Shape files for all states of India

Hey All,

Had some query and needed some data at the Block level.

So I had incorrectly assumed that Taluk is the same as Block. 

But as far as I understand now it seems like one Taluk can have multiple Blocks within it.

Is this correct?

Most of the sites have the State, District, Taluk and Village level data, the Block is not there. Is there any place from where I can get the block level data?

If not then how high is the probability of finding same village name within a Taluk?

Any help/suggestions would be really appreciated.
