Domestic Violence

Hi, 

Has anyone compiled National Crime Records Bureau data? 

I am looking for domestic violence data. Also, if anyone is aware of another survey or data source where I may not face issue of under-reporting, I would appreciate it.

There is a section on IPV (intimate partner violence) in NFHS-4 (2015-16). You may check the Woman's Questionnaire in the NFHS website and see if the data captured is of relevance to you.

Hi Piyush, 

Thank you for this. NFHS 4 (infact the earlier ones too) have a very good section on Domestic Violence. However, their next survey for which I need the comparative data for my paper is still ongoing. I will keep searching but it is good to know that this exists. If anyone is doing a cross sectional study, it is great.
