Respected Neeraj sir and other group members,
Greetings of the day!

I hope this email finds you well.

I am currently facing an issue while using the MAJOR module in Jamovi for meta-analysis. I am trying to analyse pooled prevalence data and have prepared my Excel sheet accordingly. However, when I run the file in Jamovi, I receive the following error message:

“The condition has length >1”

As I am a beginner in data analysis, I am not sure what mistake I might be making or how to fix this error. I would be very grateful if you could kindly guide me on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you all in advance for your time and support.

The vector/array / dataframe used in the program contains more than one element. However, in the if condition  only the first element (value of first position)of the array/vector/dataframe is being checked.

You should either use loop or increment the position of the vector/array to check all the elements.

Hopefully that would help.

Dear Diksha
What is pooled prevalence data? Plz share some more details of your work.
Also, is it possible to share some portion of your Excel sheet? or some dummy data?
Best wishes

Respected sir,
Greetings of the day!

Sir, I'm a PhD student in the health sector and writing a systematic review and meta-analysis for the first time of health research. Sir, pooled prevalence is the overall single prevalence of any disease or health condition of all the studies that we have selected for systematic review and meta-analysis, which we can calculate from the proportions submodel of the major module of jamovi. But when I try to run my Excel sheet, it gives the same error all the time.
I have attached the Excel sheet and the screenshot of the same.

Thanking you, sir, for your time and support!

Dear Diksha
You're correct, this is a bug  in Jamovi which is stil unsolved.

I advise you to work on R-studio
image.png

R-Code
library(readxl)
Pooled_prevalence <- read_excel("C:/Users/Neeraj Kaushik/Downloads/Pooled prevalence.xlsx")
attach(Pooled_prevalence)
names(Pooled_prevalence)

library(meta)
metaprop(Events, SampleSize)

Best wishes

Respected sir,
Greetings of the day!
Sir, Thank you so much for your quick response and for clarifying the issue. I appreciate your guidance and will try working on RStudio as suggested.
I was thinking I am doing something wrong.
