Help with Vosviewer - Network analysis.

Hi

I am trying to do network analysis with Vosviewer. I downloaded a bib as well as a text file from Scopus. When I use the file in Vosviewer, it is show read error. The error says "exception reading the next record java.io.IOException ....."

Is this a java error or data error.? Should i reinstall Vosviewer.

Secondly, which is a appropriate software for network analysis of co-author, co-citation and citation analysis - Vosviewer or Biblioshiny. Because the network analysis in Biblioshiny is not very clear while Vosviewer does not accept the combined csv file of Scopus and WOS.

Hi Lakshmi,

It is a coding error written in Java for the csv file imported into the system.

The csv file must be created with appropriate headings, etc. Otherwise the system will not understand the "csvparser" and you will get the error.
