Dear scholars and professor,

Wishing you all a happy new year in advance,

While conducting the CFA on a dataset comprising 194 respondents using SPSS Amos, I encountered low convergent validity (AVE=0.491, which is below the recommended threshold of 0.5) for one of my constructs.

All other measures are seems to be okay except for this particular construct with low validity. I was contemplating, if it is okay to round off this value to 0.5 and proceed to the second stage, SEM analysis of the hypothesized model?

If not please advise on how to solve this issue,

Thank you for your valuable advice and guidance,

Best Regards,
Ehsan
