I have a doubt -

What is Nemenyi test and when should I opt for this test?

Dear Shreya 

Nemenyi test is a non-parametric post-hoc test used to compare all possible pairs of group means after a significant Kruskal-Wallis H-test. This test is used when we have 

• more than two independent groups, 
• dependent variable is ordinal or continuous but not normally distributed, and 
• the Kruskal-Wallis test indicates a significant difference among the groups. 

Essentially, it tells which specific group pairs are significantly different from each other when the overall Kruskal-Wallis test suggests a difference exists.

We can perform using the following R-packages: PMCMR DescTools
