Respected Sir,

I am Avnish Kumar, a research scholar in the Department of Psychology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The title of my study is “Effect of Music and Yoga on Cognitive Processes, Mental Health, and Well-being among Adolescents.”

For this study, I have taken four groups:

1. Control Group
2. Music Group
3. Yoga Group
4. Yoga + Music Group

The dependent variables are as follows:

1. General well-being
2. Mental health
3. Mental health problems
4. Attention
5. Memory

Each group has four levels—one pre-test and three post-tests at intervals of one month. The design includes:

Pre-test → one month of treatment → First post-test

One month of treatment → Second post-test

One month of treatment → Final post-test

I wish to analyze:

1. The effect from pre-test to post-test at each level within the groups.

2. The comparative effectiveness of all four groups.

I seek your guidance on which statistical methods would be most appropriate for this design and how to write their interpretation.

I look forward to your kind reply at your earliest convenience.

Thanks and regards,
Avnish Kumar

Factorial ANOVA shd be used
Here you'll be able to compare the control gp, expt gp etc as well as all pre and post comparisons

Namaskar Sir

Thanks for responding, do you have any source through which I can learn this factorial ANOVA for the analysis using SPSS?

Please share if possible.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
