MGA in pls sem

Dear sir,

Is MGA necessary for moderation of categorical variables? 

Also, i tried conducting the analysis, but it shows singular matrix problem. How can I resolve the same?

Dear Prerna

Here are my 2 bits:

1. It is not mandatory that if you measured some categorical vars in your questionnaire then compulsorily you have to use MGA. If there is any objective to check a particular relation for the 2 or more categories of a non-metric (categorical) IDV then first MICOM and then MGA shd be used.

2. Singular matrix problem comes when there are 2 identical columns i.e. having their correlation as the perfect one.
