Interaction effect and MICOM MGA together

Can we check moderation through the interaction effect (simple slope analysis) for gender and through MICOM and MGA for age in the thesis? Or do we need to maintain consistency?

Use the coding for the gender as 0 & 1 and then the results of MICOM and Slope analysis wud be the same.

May use any of the methods, results and interpretation wud be the same.
