Dear fellow members,

I have started my research journey and wanted to get my first paper published so I am directionless and unsure about the journal.

Although a similar question has been posted multiple times earlier as well and I have scanned through the UGC Care journal list and Scopus Journal list but I am unable to find the relevant ones.

My field of research is Digital Marketing so requesting your suggestions on the UGC Care journals which I can shortlist for the publication of the paper without any fees or minimal fees.

Dear Deepak,

Few thoughts,

Always begin with reading A*, A and B Category journals that are listed on ABDC.

Secondly, it may sound too ambitious to straight way publish in these journals without having the support of erudite researchers. However, you may target C category journals that are indexed with Sage, Emerald or Elsevier.

Publishing in UGC care and Scopus indexed though is not a bad idea. If you are an early researcher still learning the nuances, I may suggest you the following journals based on my understanding.

Ramanujan Journal of International Business Research. (UGC CARE)

NMIMS Management Review (UGC CARE and Web of Science)

SCMS: Indian Management Journal (UGC CARE & Scopus)

AIMS Journal (UGC CARE)

Prabandha: Indian Journal of Management (UGC CARE & SCOPUS)

There are many many. Other than online search, try searching by visiting some good library in India. In the display section, you will come across a journal that you might find it feasible to publish. Indexing and all can be corroborated.

Dear Deepak,

Considering you as a beginner, I would like to add.

I believe, you must have analyzed the literature to include citation and build content in your paper, if you have referred the quality papers, just check the " References " of these research papers and make a list of the Journals.
Since these are the most relevant journal for your topic. The authors you have cited in your literature have published their work in these journals, is a considerable reason to continue your research work in these journals.

Now, just visit the official websites of these journals to analyze their credibility or check whether these journals are listed in your desired list (UGC, SCOUPUS, etc.). Remember, this will work only if you have referred authentic papers for your study. Otherwise, you will find similar quality of references.
In that case, I request you to follow the suggestions of Prof. Arun Kumar Dubey as mentioned in previous mail.

Hope it helps!

Best wishes

ASHISH MAHAJAN
