DarkKnighters the Saturday 3 pm game has been cancelled due to the extreme weather. Let’s meet and have a great game of cricket the week after this and let’s start off our season with a bang.

All teams,

 

As you are aware the temperatures this weekend predicted to be very high.

 

Considering the conditions the following changes have been made to schedule across all fields:

 

Saturday Games:

8 AM Game - ON

11.30 AM game - Cancelled

3:00PM Game - Cancelled

6:30 PM Game - ON

 

Sunday Games:

8 AM Game - ON

11.30 AM game - Cancelled

3:00PM Game - Cancelled

6:30 PM Game - ON

 

For the games which are still being played; we would like to advise you to communicate to all your players to be very well hydrated starting today leading into the weekend games, during the game and during cool off time after the game.

 

- Stay hydrated with clear liquids - Water preferably

- Avoid alcoholic drinks

- Get enough sleep

- Avoid late night partying prior to game day

 

* Please also follow professional advice and references. local news update etc. for further information and instructions.

 

Apply sunscreen to avoid sun burn and use caps and hats to cover from direct sun.

 

Umpires are advised to allow players to grab drinks as and when needed not wasting too much time.

 

If any players needs immediate medical attention please call 911.

 

Play safe.
