Hi all,

I'm very new here and I'm already having issues running Coreform-Cubit-2021.5 on a trial license. Whenever I type: "./bin/coreform_cubit" I got the following error: ./libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.29' not found (required by /usr/lib64/libQt5Network.so.5).

GLIBCXX_3.4.29 is installed in the right folder and I can't figure out why it is not found.
Has anyone experienced an error like this?
Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,
Lorenzo

Hi  Lorenzo

Welcome to the community.

I've not come across this error in particular.

However it might be worth checking the operating system (Manjaro) is supported by Cubit Coreform

Perhaps the best place to check that is on the Coreform forum https://forum.coreform.com/

All the best

Jon

Hi Lorenze;

Maybe try to unset the LD_LIBRARY_PATH before running cubit:

Something like:
"unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH; ./bin/coreform_cubit »

Something LD_LIBRARY_PATH is messing up with the libraries shipped with cubit

Hi, John, Baptiste,

Thank you both for your prompt reply.

Unsetting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH seems to solve the problem.

Thanks again,
Lorenzo
