Export dagmc in coreform Cubit

I am a newbie in DAGMC. I want to use DAGMC with fluka to implement Mesh type geometry   (.obj) to run MC simulations. After going through well written documentation of DAGMC I came to understand that DAGMC requires Cubit to make DAGMC geometry. though I have installed Cubit (trial version ) from Coreform, I am not able to export my geometry as dagmc due to plugins problem. Is there a way to convert .obj geometry to be used with DAGMC (FLUDAG) simulations?

Hello Pradeep,

Thanks for your interest in DAGMC.

We are working on delivering a version of the plugin for this newest version of Coreform Cubit.  Hopefully it will be ready soon.  We'll announce it on this mailing list.

Hi,

I was trying to use a fm card on the TMESH tally which already ran successfully before on a DAGMC model. But got this error message: "fatal error. fm card of combined tally 0 is too complicated.”.
MCNP6.2 is supposed to support TMESH tally with FM card. So DAGMC does not support it?

Please forget my previous email. It turned out to be a MCNP6 problem. Not exactly a problem if the manual was more clear on how to write the fm card for the tmesh tally. I asked the problem in the MCNP forum and it was sorted out. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for following up.  I was going to respond with a similar thought, but saw you had already reached out to the MCNP list.

DAGMC doesn't really have any interaction with the TMESH that came from MCNPX.
