error in Jar file

Hello-

I have been trying to install the yFiles Layout update from Cytoscape website. The .jar file when I try to open it generate the following error:

"The JAVA JAR file "yfiles-layout-algorithms.1.0.2.jar" could not be launched. Check the Console for possible error messages.

I couldn't find any relatable console message error that could help me figure out what's going on. I tried restarting my mac, updating Cytoscape etc. I am wondering if the JAR file is corrupted and whether there is an updated version.

Hi Hussein,

   The yFiles Layout is an App for Cytoscape and needs to be installed as part of Cytoscape to be used.  The easiest way to do that is through the Cytoscape App Manager, just click on the Check for Updates and update it from there.  You can also use "Install from File..." in the App Manager to install the jar you already downloaded.
