Opportunities to match race

Hey CYC Crewfinder,

If you're a match racer or a fleet racer curious about match racing, there are some upcoming opportunities to get involved.

Seattle Yacht Club is hosting two more match race events this season in its club-owned J22s:

Star and Bar Round 3

Aug 16-17

Registration open: bit.ly/4lyJ9lF

Winning this event earns an automatic berth at the Championship.

Star and Bar Championship

Sep 6-7

This is about as low-key and friendly a chance to learn to match race as there is.

These events are open to non-members, and we are looking for more teams to sign up. Teams do not all need to belong to the same club or organization.

If you or anyone you know is interested in putting together a team and entering, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

Hi Bill,

We don’t usually send out QR codes with links only to the Registration on them.

We want folks to see the whole picture and have a chance to read the NOR before registering.

On the Regattas page.

 

The “Regattas” page is the preferred link to send out.

We don’t want QR codes and just linking to the Regatta networks page.

Got it! I can revise the poster to link to the regattas page before printing it in real life.

For future regattas, would it be possible to deep link to a specific regatta on the regattas page? I think currently there are not links to any of the expanded states in the regatta list.
