Hope you are well.
The other key route from Kingham that ought to be revived is to Chipping Norton, again along a disused railway. It would be both an excellent leisure route and good for people getting to a station to get on a train.

Oxfordshire is more profitably harrangable these days. The bulk of the route is still fenced off, albeit privately owned. My expectation is that the most difficult part would be the final Kingham section, which to be made of value needs to go both to the village and the station.
I believe it is on Sustrans' radar.

Subject: RE: [cyclox-forum] Kingham To Bourton Cycle ProjectThe bit running from Kingham to Chipping Norton is very short and potentially easily do-able, but it’s in Oxfordshire and I’ve limited my haranguing to Gloucestershire councils and MPs. If the money could be found I’m sure Sustrans would like the opportunity to look at it.
The Kingham to Bourton feasibility study, which hopefully takes us to the stage of knowing the cost and being able to apply for grants and other funding, is costing £7k. You can do some of it yourself by searching the land registry. At this stage it’s quite possible the landowners will harrumph and mutter “over my dead body”, but there is potentially quite a lot in it for them too. Watch this space!
