Hello again guys!

Thanks for helping me out last time, but I haven't quite managed to get the cyclone working.

First of all, I use the v0.9.7 Version of the Cyclone with a Sanguinololu base board. I pulled the sources for that tag from github and compiled it without problems.
However, when I don't change anything, my X Achsis is moving in the wrong direction. That was not really a problem since there is a flag in the Configuration.h file.

The mayor Problem is, that autoleveling is not working by default with this firmware, at least not for me. I manually had to comment out #define ENDSTOPS_ONLY_FOR_HOMING. I think this is not really the right way, because when I try to mill, it says 'Endstops hit' and never mills deeper.
Whats the right way to make it working? Should I use the new Cyclone v2 Firmware instead?

Thanks for helping me last time, and I hope you can also help out this time.. =)

Regards
David

Hello Again.. =)

Today I had time to configure the newer version of the Marlin Firmware. I have attached my Configuration.h file. Everything works as expected, but when I tried to mill a simple pcb (also attached). The file was created with pcb2gcode for eagle. It looks good in the preview, but when milling, it looks nowhere near identical to the preview.

The depth is not right, as well as the general shape of the mill. There should be 2 rows underneath each other.

Please help me, I don't really know what I should do. I will throw that thing out of my window and build the new version, because I'm really getting crazy... :/

Thanks for your help! =)

Hi David, sorry for the delayed response :S

I am not sure, but the issue looks related to the stepper motors missing steps (lack of current) when high speed is required. That is, the G00 commands mean "fast motion" and it uses the maximum possible speed, which may lead to missed steps (you should hear a loud buzz when this happens).
Though, the machine also does homing using max speeds, so if homing works the issue should not be this one.

Also, check that the gears are correctly coupled with the motor shaft. If they are slipping that may as well be the problem. Usually it is necessary to sand the shaft so the coupling is strong:
