Hi there,

I've got a spindle for the Cyclone 1 however I have the plastic parts for the Cyclone 2.

The new plastic parts are designed for the Dremel and thus don't fit. Is there anyway of getting openscad to increase the diameter of the spindle mount? I can't figure out openscad as a CAD package, I'm much more a FreeCAD type person and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you can help

Hi, can you post the diameters of your spindle?

Samuel,

From the openscad file for Cyclone 1 (Which fits my spindle) its is written as: spindle_motor_diam = 26*2;

Using my caliper I get a reading of 52.01mm

I just couldn't get my head around how to edit it in the openScad file.

Thank you for your help

Right,

I think I've managed it. Openscad just had a few dependancies that needed working out.

I've uploaded the new design files should anyone else be trying to do the same thing.

Carlos,

Not a problem. I've printed these parts and can confirm they work should anyone else need them.
