rehome a Welsummer

I have a Welsummer hen about two and a half years old that needs a home. She has been in a coop with another Welsummer, but a predator got in and killed her friend and I can't fix the problem to make the coop secure. So, I have no safe place for her.

I won't lie. She isn't the strongest layer. However, the eggs she lays are very pretty, dark brown. She also is very sweet, although shy. She would make a great pet for someone that wants a chicken for a pet or she could be added to a larger flock that has a rooster to manage her integration into your flock.

BTW, I have been feeding her the New Country Organics organic layer crumbles.

I can come by tomorrow.  I’ll have to borrow your carrier again maybe.  Actually, we have a bunch of Chewy boxes so I can use one of those.  I have to go to Farmville in the AM, but I’m coming back through probably around 11 or 12?
