Hi everyone,

1.5.1-eap1 is out now. It provides support for the new IntelliJ 2017.2 EAP, as well as bugfixes for Leiningen and Copy Reference.

Here are the issues:

Cursive doesn’t correctly exclude targets when using %s #1746
Copy reference doesn’t work for declarations #1745
Modules cannot be added correctly from the Project Structure view #1729
Lein Artifact Search could search for partial matches in artifact name #1677

Cheers,
Colin

Should it be taking this long to see the this version appear?

This might help … if you installed 2017.2 without having first turned on EAP, you may have become caught in a spot where you can't see Cursive. Colin explains:

Hi Luke,

I see - the problem is that 2016.3 EAP is only supported by the latest Cursive EAP, and by default EAPs are not enabled. But it’s a Catch-22, because you need Cursive installed to say you want EAP builds. However you can do this manually - open Settings->Plugins->Browse Repositories->Manage Repositories, and add a repository with the address: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugins/eap/8090. Then go back to Browse Repositories, refresh and you should be good to go.

Cheers,
Colin

Amazingly, I even documented that based on the previous message: https://cursive-ide.com/userguide/troubleshooting.html

Clearly I think of that as more of a general guideline than a rule.

I truly am blind, but even if I wasn't, I would have assumed that section was for trouble after the fact. Why not (also) put it in the Getting Started section where I did look?

Good thinking, I’ll do that.
