Hi guys.

I am hoping one of you can help me get up and running again. I followed the instructions and had help regarding the post to update our IPs. After updating the wIND I had access tot he torrent site. The next morning I started getting a message saying I need to fic my DNS.
I have made sure all my details are correct (as I understand it).

Anybody have had the same problem or any advice ?

Hi guys,

We have received our new ip ranges for our area, we have a /20 which has been allocated as follows, there is another /20 available, but I don’t expect to need it in a hurry.

I believe we need to do our OSPF links with our own ranges too, we must completely remove all 172.18.x.x ip addresses.

If anyone knows how to do theirs, please go ahead, otherwise I will work through them one at a time, and recruit help where I can get it.

Shadowclaw and Reaver, I will do yours from Cheaptrick’s range again.

Thanks

Hi Charl

Your ip range is 172.26.56.32/29

Your usable ips are 172.26.56.33-38

From the image attached to the email, it looks like your pc is using 33, which you have not added to wind.  Please add it and try again.

Also, when I look at your node on WiND, I can’t see any of your ips, I’m not sure why, but it could be that you haven’t added a subnet.

Also, your subnet mask on your pc is wrong.  It should be 255.255.255.248

Hi guys,

Just to let you know, I sold my house in Bothasig and will be moving back to Woodstock.  The kit was left and the new owner will be looking at joining CTWUG,
I removed my node from the WiND and will look to join up from Woodstock side again.

Keep well
Charl

Morning Charl

Please if possible let me know when I can disable link when you have finally moved from Bothasig. I want to disable and will enable once the new owner has registered on CTWuG.

Thanks Mark
