PostgreSql parent table partitioned in foreign cstore_fdw

Hello,

I am making some tests in a distributed scenario using PostgreSql 11.3 and cstore_fdw.

I have created a PostgreSql parent table and some partitions using HASH or RANGE. 

These partitions are all foreign cstore ones.

When I try to ingest data using COPY I get a server disconnection.

Is this scenario possible with cstore_fdw?

Hi Sanyo,

I think it’s not possible, the partition routing does not work (yet) for cstore_fdw.

We solve it by inserting / copying into the right partition in the ETL.
