Dear Colleagues,

I have a query related to DPT-3:-
Any amount received in course of, or for the purposes of the business
of the company As security deposit for performance of the contract of supply of goods or
of the company As security deposit for performance of the contract of supply of goods or
provision of services.
Does this include a security deposit given by the employee at the time of joining the Company ? As the same is refundable at the time when a person leaves the Company.
Kindly guide me in respect of the same

Exclude. Only business transaction related deposits included. Employment contract is not a business transaction.
