Nil return for DPT - 3

Dear Members,

In my company, there is no loan.

Does we have to file a nil return for DPT-3 in such case?

Please confirm since from the MCA notification it is not cleared.

why Nil Return is Required to file? as in notification, there is a word Outstanding Amount so as per my view if Company does not have Outstanding amount it is not required to file DPT-3.

Dear CS Akash Ji

The Section starts with the words "Every Company" and specifically exempts only government companies to file the form. Hence every companies shall file the form declaring either nil return or any balances if required. 

The applicability begins from the very first words & what comes further is the stipulations laid for the applicable companies.
