Apostillation of Documents

Dear All,

My query is whether this round sticker is mandatory on apostilled documents (Malaysia) required to be filed with ROC or simply stamp would be good enough?

Dear Friend,

Firstly, that round sticker symbolises the authentication of documents issued in another country.

Apostilled documents are mandatory in the matter of Incorporation of Companies wherein any Foreign including NRI's involved into Incorporation of company except OCI card holders.

The apostillation varies from countries to countries. The important point here to review is that the documents apostille carries an apostillation certificate with them. The reason for such process is that any documents issued in one country do not carry validity in another country. Any document to be valid in another country must be apostilled. Hope this suffices

As per my understanding, Malaysia is a part of commonwealth games and therefore, notary should be enough.

Also, please note the same is required while incorporation of a company or while applying DIN in case of foreign or non resident shareholders.

Is notary also compulsory along with apostille on certificate of incorporation of foreign company if the foreign company is to be the shareholder of a foreign subsidiary to be registered in India?
