Can OPC issue Preference Shares?

In my opinion, it is not possible to raise funds through issue of shares for OPC because it has a single member only. Maybe you will have to convert it into a private limited company before resorting into such actions.

One person Company has only one member lifetime of the company.

This one member may infuse funds by equity or preference shares in the company.

Other than that, no one can subscribe to the shares of an OPC.

As per my understanding.
