DIR-3 KYC_Foreign National

[CS Students]

Dear Members,

We are supposed to file DIR-3 KYC  for one foreign national. We have the Identity Proof and Address Proof which were apostilled last year at the time of his appointment. 

Our query is there any requirement to get those attachments apostilled freshly this year or we can attach the same documents for KYC Purpose.

Please guide us.

The apostiled documents for foreign nationals are valid for one year,  so you have to take new kyc for the form,

Hello, 

I just read the instruction kit of DIR-3KYC Form and nowhere did I find documents to be notarized and apostilled.

I think notarisation and apostille is required only for DIR-3 for i.e application for DIN number.

Other views are welcome.

1. Commonwealth nations, all the documents shall be notarized by a Notary(Public) in that part of the nation; or
2. Hague Convention, all the documents shall be notarized and duly apostillised.

3. Neither Common wealth nations nor Hague Convention, all the documents shall be notarized before the Notary (Public) of such Country and theCertificate of the Notary (Public) shall be authenticated by a Diplomatic orConsular Officer empowered in this behalf under Section 3 of the Diplomaticand Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) Act, 1948 or, where there is no such officer by any of the officials mentioned in Section 6 of the Commissioners ofOaths Act, 1889, or in any Act amending the same.
