Further to the query, what if the Bank OD facility is availed but as on 31st March, there is no outstanding amount or the facility has not been used. Should that be reported?

Hello all, 

DPT 3 has to be filed for the particular financial year, if any amount, falls under "not deposit" as per Rule 2(1)(c) of Companies (Acceptance of deposit) rules or otherwise, was received by Company during the previous year(s).

In given case, bank overdraft by Company has fall under sub clause (iii) of above captioned rule (i.e. not deposit). Hense the Company has to report it in form DPT 3 the amount outstanding as on 31.03.2021 or as the case may be.

Also, for more clarity, try filling a demo form.
