company closure

Hi All

Can a pvt ltd company which is not in operation from last one year and also dont want to roc filing for this year and has no business, file for closure in STK-2 ?

Please advise.

Company can go for strike off. However, ROC filing for the years becomes necessary as department demands for it else they will mark it for resubmission. Also make sure of filing ITR

No requirement to do the annual filing for the year during which no business was done. But, It is mandatory for the years in which the business was carried on.

You may check for two basic conditions to apply for strike off. The one is annual filing till the year accounts has been closed and second is no business activity.
