Hi,

Please confirm that Stamp duty on Allotment is  0.005%.

If the consideration amount is Rs. 51,00,000 then stamp duty will be only (5100000*0.005%) Rs. 255.

Yes the stamp duty paid on Allotment of 0.005%, I incorporated a company a few days back with capital of Rs 1,00,000 only 5 rupees is paid as stamp duty via stock holding portal on Allotment of shares. The portal will automatically show the amount of stamp duty to be paid when you put the consideration.

Muninder Ji, pls also confirm is there any change in process of payment of consolidated stamp duty as compare to earlier process in which we applied online and then challan generated by department after hearing or without hearing and then we make payment and get stamp paper of similar amount from stockholding and submit with department for issuance of certificate.
