Statutory Auditor term expires need Form ADT 3 or NOC

Dear Members,

Please share your inputs that in case of an auditor term expires for five years then in this is it required to file ADT 3 by the auditor or only NOC to the new auditor will suffice.

The whole scenario depends on whether he is entitled to be reappointed or not. In case, he can not be re-appointed for a further term than  only NOC is required. 

In case if he is eligible to be reappointed, then there would be seperate compliance.

No need to file adt 3 because auditor term expires. Whenever new auditor join they will ask noc from previous auditor.
