MGT-7 & MGT-7A - Error

Hi Everyone,

While Filing form MGT-7A showing error as Turnover is greater than 40Cr, need to file MGT-7

While filing MGT-7 showing as " The company is Small company file Form MGT-7A"

Can anyone face this problem? MCA tickets were also raised but no use.

No- Not  subsidiary / Public. Exceeds turnover --  Previous year Turnover 29 cr  and this year Turnover 52 cr

Then you have to file MGT-7 only since it was exceeding the threshold limit as on the previous FY, which was 20 crs.

Pending for approval ? It's STP right ? If not approved, then wait for that to get approved. After that, file annual return.

Why is it pending for approval? It's a STP form but heard recently it is only being marked for resubmission if rounded values being entered.

Try filling the Turnover first in Form MGT-7 and then fill CIN and give prefill.  It worked for me.

If Central folks are not helping out, try calling/visiting your jurisdictional ROC and ask reason for keeping in Pending status.

Please recheck the share capital mentioned in AOC-4, it could be the reason for non-approval. If it is correct in form, then contact your regional ROC

this prb is due to New rule mentioned amt in 000' or in lakhs if the form is filed on that basis then this STP AOC -4  send Directly for ROC Approval Even my 3 to 4 forms are showing pending for approval since 1.5 month No reply from ROC on mail or on call.. Even tried to speak in person but they said wait for some time it will send for submission form ROC but till today its not. In this situation no one can help except ROC but they are also not doing anything... Its big issue

For this MGT 7 Pls Match the amt and AGM date etc.. as per AOC  -4 for respective companies and Try to download fresh forms. In many of my forms in MGT 7A there is one point where we have to mention whether the Director Attended AGM YES or No that option was not showing.I would suggest downloading a fresh form and filling it.
