As per the Amendment in Finance Act, the Stamp Duty paid on transfer of shares shall be 0.015%. It is based on the price or consideration mentioned in the instrument.

If the transfer of share is transferred via gift, then in that case whether no stamp duty is payable, as the consideration is zero?

In case of gift, transaction amount will be nil, so no stamp duty to be paid in case of gift.

If the registered office is in delhi, the stamp paper of Rs. 100 will be sufficient, but what will be the amount of adhesive transfer stamp duty on SH 4?
