UDIN for MGT-7 not attached to Form

Dear All,

In some of the Form MGT-7s filed last year, UDIN details NOT attached to Form MGT-7, will it have repercussions ????

Attaching UDIN details depends upon interpretation which varies from person to person, therefore it is not mandatory.

What are the interpretations in this case.If you have certified MGT 7 it is required to generate UDIN and attach.

In case inadvertently it was not attached, but you had generated, you can plead defence and I do not think it is a serious issue

Dear gkpa...@gmail.com,

UDIN will be generated when the PCS certifies the form and it is not necessary that the date of signing by the Director and PCS is the same.

In that case how will you attach the UDIN certificate in the Form?

Absolutely Vratikaji.

Our Institute should understand this and make attachment of UDIN details to Form MGT-7 as optional and not mandatory.
