U can transfer only the paid shares held in the name of members.

Stamp duty for transfer of shares is 25 paise per 100 rupees.

As I understood from your query, paid up share capital of your company is Rs. 2500 shares of Rs 10 each. Value is Rs.25000/-

Stamp duty is Rs. 62.5. our day Rs.63.

But ROC take stamp duty on authorised capital so in case of transfer, stamp duty is required to pay on authorised capital.

Any view from others is welcomed.

Stamp Duty on Authorised Capital is already paid to the concerned government  through MCA on Incorporation/ Authorised Capital Increase that is totally separate thing.

When Shares are transferred, it has to be paid on the number of shares transferred (Consideration Amount*Rate of Stamp Duty) i.e. it will always be from paid up capital

The Stamp Duty on Share Transfer is uniform all over India and has been revised w.e.f. 01/07/2020 kindly go through Indian stamp Act.
