Process of DIN Surrender and How much is the penalty and documents Format

Hi,

 

One of the Director has two DIN , can you please let me the process of DIN Surrender and is there any penalty involved for the same

 

Please provide the formats of the documents which needs to be attached

Please file DIR-5 for the surrendering of New DIN. Retain the OLD DIN. 

You required the following documents, 

1. Self attested PAN

2. Self Attested Aadhaar

3. Affidavit from the DIN Holder.

Recently we had filed DIR-5 for surrendering of DIN. The form gets approved in RD North. We haven't received any penalty.

Cant u retain the New DIN and Surrender the Old DIN, as the New DIN is Associated with many Companies and the Old DIN is Not associated with any Companies.

DIN can be surrendered only if the same has not been used anytime since allotment of DIN.

According to rule 11 of companies ( appointment Nd qualification of directors) rules ..old or new ..DIN which is never been used to surrender .... before deactivation CG will verify record..read provision
