Regarding Annual Filling of DPT-3

Dear all,

Loan from NBFC shall come under which heading in form DPT-3 while Filling Annual Return.

In respect of Rule 2(1)(c)

Please help classify loans from various Banks under different headings.

e.g. Loan from ICICI Bank and and Car Loan from Kotak Mahindra..

Loan from NBFC will come under Rule 2(1)(c)(vi) of relevant Rules. In the form, it will be shown under Column 15(f)

15(f) says Any amount received by the company from any other company it says about inter corporate deposit. and 15(d)(i) says Any amount received as loan or financial assistance from -
(i) Public Financial Institutions notified by the Central
Government; 

So my opinion it comes under 15(d)(i)

No it is not 15(d)(i) because:

15(d)(i) Public Financial Institutions notified by the Central Government - Is NBFC a PFI ? Pls check ! I understand that it is not a PFI.

Why 15(f):

NBFC being an company, and having no other options to choose - the right option is 15(f) . The same shall not be constured as ICD as the law regulating the fundings by NBFC & normal corporates are different.
