Dear Team,

In a private limited company a foreign citizen is to be a director. Is it necessary to make him/her authorized signatory, or it is enough to have an Indian authorized signatory of the company.

which documents are needed for the foreign citizen to obtain DSC & DIN no.

Please help me with the information.

Compliances Under FEMA For a Foreign Director

As per the Companies Act and FEMA, there are no restrictions for a foreign national to become a director in an Indian Company. They are eligible for sitting fees, remuneration, commission, travel expenses just like any other director.
