There is a maximum of 12 students. Slots will be allocated in signup order. If more students sign up than can be accommodated, all on the waitlist will be notified by email of any cancellation, and the first to respond will get the slot. You can check your signup status on the website.]

This is a land clinic for Junior-rated windsurfers! This class is appropriate any time after earning the Junior rating, but novices who already have their own sails are also welcome to join. As a Junior, you learned to rig the boom. In this lesson, you will learn to rig a full sail from scratch, selecting sail, mast, mast extension, and learning about the relationship between downhaul, outhaul, sail type, and conditions.
You must register for this class. From the calendar view, click here to register (you must be logged in).
This clinic will teach you:
- Sail types, materials
- How to match masts with sails
- about Downhaul and Outhaul
This course fulfills the J+ Rigging requirement and will involve students successfully rigging and derigging sails to demonstrate confidence with the material.
