Hey there,

You might feel like things have been pretty quiet around here. They have, and that's my fault. But let's just say the recent backlash against the NSA has helped motivate me ;)

I have continued to work on the Cryptosphere, in small bits, while spending much more time working on the prerequisite components: Celluloid, the concurrency framework the Cryptosphere will be built on, and RbNaCl, the cryptography library.

I've been putting together some design documents which weigh various options as to how the system will be implemented. Check them out!

Thanks for the update - I thought you'd given up on the project by now!
It is indeed an important project, and PRISM is a good motivator.


TL;DR - I think we need better tools for building encrypted, decentralised systems.
