Hi all, well, I think I was a member, a long long time ago (pun intended), and have rejoined. Not sure how active I can be, but will hope to join you at Kenley and Shirley from time to time. My story: 35 years ago I built a 6-inch Dobsonian (David Hinds optics). It's still very nice and crisp. I got re-engaged to give some advice to a friend wishing to get into astronomy, and then got 'intrigued' myself with the possibility of things like the Dwarf 3 ... BUT, before I get one of those using my Canon 90D for some stacking. Hoping for some results, starting simple, no tracker, 50mm lens, 6 second exposures ... bought myself a Pixel TW-283 to run the shoot ... and then ... what I fear most ... learning Siril ;-) Hoping for some advice and help on that. Realize this is all a bit 'amateur hour' compared to you guys, but I'll share an image or two ... if I ever get any. Thank you for the society. Regards, Howard --
