I am working on a 3102 emulator and am working through the HDTEST.COM's UI, but I am doing it blind.  Does anyone happen to have a picture or a screenshot of what it is supposed to look like?

Thanks,
Chris

I am not certain what you need, but you might find this device very helpful.

https://thehighnibble.com/vt132/#overview you will need the stand alone version.

If you mean by doing it blink, that the screen is a garbled mess, try using the built-in terminal in Dave Dunfield's cromemco utility (RT.COM /T) from a MS-DOS computer.. downloadable here: http://dunfield.classiccmp.org/img/index.htm (Cromemco RDOS). It provides just enough terminal emulation compatibility to make sense of the HDTEST output.

This is what I was working on today.  I wrote some code on a Pi Pico that sits between my Z-2 and any VT100 compatible terminal or terminal emulator and it translates the 3102 commands into VT100 commands.  I got HDTEST.COM working and SCREEN.COM also works.  This was more a "boredom" project than anything.

Hi Christopher,

Did you get around to making this code available somewhere by any chance? Would love to try it out.

Thanks,

mike

I am still getting to it.  I started a new job, so things have been hectic, lol.

C'mon, man, get your priorities straight! ;-)

J/K; no rush, looking forward to it.

And thanks for the big contribution, especially for anyone with an IMI drive but also the rest of us (except Jay ;-)
