Beloveds, in the last days, one of our friends and synod's pastors have died in Christ:

D. Lee Hudson (1947-2025) died suddenly, after a cardiac event on Friday evening. Lee was the long-time pastor of Messiah English (now Church on the Square) in Canton, and was, for over 25 years, Assistant to the Bishop/Director for the Lutheran Office on Public Policy. Lee was a member of St. Mark's (Baltimore).

Obituary forthcoming.

Funeral on Saturday, September 6 at 11am
St. Mark's, Baltimore. Luncheon afterwards.

Clergy are invited to vest and process, white stoles.

Well done good and faithful servant.

I know that all of the creation care ministry team shared a special affection for Pr. Lee and his uncanny ability as an advocate for creation care ministry and for the overall ministry in our synod as a witness to God's Love for all!.
We have all been touched and blessed by Pr. Lee
Peace to all of the Hudson family.
Larry

Wow, Lutheran Brethren-  I’m not sure I met Lee Hudson, but through the many email messages I’m certain your green ministry was important to him.

Peace to one and all,

Dick Williams, CBLP
