Hi Creation Care Team!

I'm sorry I missed the meeting last night. I wanted to let you all know that I've been pressuring our lawmakers to pass our three focus bills out of committee: the Bottle Bill, the CHERISH Act, and the Transportation and Climate Alignment Act. Next week, we will know which bills have officially "crossed over," at which time I will be giving you all some tools for success to contact your own reps, so we can help make these bills become laws! 🥳

The good news is that the Transportation and Climate Alignment Act, a bill that Lee supported on behalf of our synod last year, has already crossed over, so that'll definitely be a focus for our synod for the last few weeks of session.

I do have one question for you all. I saw that the synod newsletter is starting to advertise tabling for synod assembly. Is the Creation Care Team going to have a table? And if so, would you like me to provide a one-pager about the creation care bills that we supported this session?
