That does it Gene!  If you won't stop to visit and let either Hickman or me buy you coffee, then you can damn well buy US coffee next time you try to pass through this area.  Or take another route -- via Limon or something.  We have really high standards on who can pass through our sacred lands.

Well, in Gene's defense the road between here and Rta 1 has been closed since May due to a landslide but Gene doesn't know that.  Lol

guys....i walked out of hospital mexico at 7pm after completing my 23rd of 33 radiation treatment....being in san jose 2 straight weeks...i could only see guayabo in the headlights and san jose inthe rear view mirror....

we  will do this!!!

well...

been having voice problems going on 4 years ago...kept an eye on it and discovered tumors a year ago...biopsy revealed t4an2cm0 larynx cancer.. i was trached because the tumors closed my breathing path....then laryngectomy march....to everyones relief....i cant speak...lololol...right sam???

the tumors had leaked a bit calling for radiation treatments  .the sack around 2 lympth nodes was ruptured . .calling for chemo....which is scheduled upon termination of radio therapy...only 3 sessions are scheduled...no clue what   that entails. ..from a pill to being ported and hospitalized....we shall see.. 

I DO NOT FEEL SICK...i actually feel good   .just suffering from old age!!!

i decided to use my ccss...because of the lrngth of treatment/recovery....not wanting to return to states and abandon my farm/home for months    great decision...i am impressed with my care ...was NOT a fan of public medicine...I WAS WRONG. ..LOLLLLLOL

had to do radio therapy at hospital mexico because tgats where the linear acceletator is    the chemo will be done in liberia, my home hospital....

i get treated 5 days per week at 4pm...m-f...go home every two werks...thats hard...on an old man!!!

but only 10 sessions left! i will wrap up 23rd august....a saturday so i dont have to return on monday for last session due to mothers day holiday...the ccss has provided psychology services  nutricion appointments   weekly appointments to check my handling the thrtapy....as i said. .i am impresded...well cared for!!!

That's a scary situation Gene.  But it explains completely why you don't want to stop and visit with folks en route to treatment sessions.  I agree with you about CCSS.  I didn't want to touch it either when I first arrived.  Then, when I got residency, I realized I had to pay for it anyway, so I tried it out.  Pleasantly surprised, and I use it for both superficial checkups and meds.  We have an excellent private clinic nearby also.  Hope you have success with your treatments!!!!!!
